Snowmobiling

Bring your snowmobile to Larder Lake and stay with us - we promise you won't be disappointed! The scenery is spectacular, and due to the tireless efforts of our local snowmobile club, our trail system is as smooth as our highways. Joining the Ontario and Quebec Provincial Trail Systems, snowmobile trails in the Larder Lake area promise hours of enjoyment for the beginner and touring rider alike. As a part of the Trans Ontario Provincial (TOP) trail system, local trails are groomed regularly to ensure the smoothest possible riding conditions. We are within an easy one day ride to Timmins, North Bay, and a number of communities in the province of Quebec.

Skiing

Ski enthusiasts have plenty of options in Larder Lake! For cross-country enthusiasts, there's nothing like a tranquil day in the spectacular scenery of Northern winter woods. For a fun family day of downhill skiing, snowboarding and sliding, there's the Larder Lake Ski Hill. For more information about skiing visit the Ski Club.

Ice Fishing

Winter anglers can experience some of the best ice fishing in the province! Local lakes offer the most popular varieties of game fish including Lake Trout, Pickerel (Walleye) and Northern Pike, but please contact us, or the Ministry of Natural Resources, to ensure your favorite species is in season. There are also some great prizes to be won at our annual Winter Fish Derbies. See our Events calendar for details.

We'd love to have you visit Larder Lake and take part in any of these great winter activities. For more information, please contact us!
